The award-winning theatre designers Haworth Tompkins drew up our initial plans. Then local architects Reed Watts worked on the detail and won planning permission from Camden Council. We are now working closely with the National Lottery Heritage Fund on how to bring our vision to life.
We are being supported by the pioneering Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE), the first professional orchestra in the UK to be based in a state school. Acland Burghley has conducted its own community consultation, so we know that lots of local groups are fully behind our plans and face being priced out of their current premises.
