SUMMARY:Live at the Hex #4
DESCRIPTION:Tunes by Purcell\, uplifting choro swing from Brazil and funky jazz licks… it’s time to mix it like only Live at The Hex can. \nLive at the Hex returns for another evening where classical music rubs shoulders with other equally stylish music. Matthew Truscott will lead a Purcell-inspired set with fellow musicians from the OAE. They will be joined by Alvorada – the UK’s leading performers of choro\, a rich and uplifting style of instrumental music from Rio de Janeiro\, with the irresistible swing of samba and maxixe from the south to baião from the north-east with an immediacy and vibrancy that delights audiences everywhere – and jazz fusion band Lick the Moon returning by popular demand. \nProduced by our Dreamchasing Young Producers here at our home in Tufnell Park (and pretty much opposite the tube station) you can enjoy six sets of music with a well-stocked bar and an on site pizza van. \nCheck out the highlight reel from Live at The Hex #3 for an idea of what to expect. \n£2 (Under 19s) – Pay-what-you-choose from £5 for adults \nTICKETS: https://tickets.oae.co.uk/130398/131367 \n
